North Texans rallied to condemn the missile attack on Camp Liberty and ask for more protection

IACNT_ The day after Christmas, on Thursday, December 26th, at 21:15 local time, various missiles rained upon Camp Liberty in Iraq. Three residents were killed, and more than 50 were wounded.

The attack marked the fourth missile assault of its kind on Camp Liberty this year. As a result of the attacks from February, April, June and most recently December of 2013, 13 residents have been killed, and more than 200 wounded.

Iran Has Executed 529 People in 2013

Iran has executed 529 people this year, including more than 300 since President Hassan Rouhani assumed office in August, according to a tally compiled by the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC).

The number of executions have significantly spiked since Rouhani took office, leading some to argue that this clashes with his image as a moderate reformer.

Loud Protests as Obama Hosts Iraqi Leader

WASHINGTON — More than 1,000 demonstrators marched in front of the White House Friday to protest President Barack Obama’s meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

The Iraqi leader was meeting Mr. Obama to cap a visit to Washington, where he was seeking approval for new military equipment and other aid.

Rally Against the Massacre in Camp Ashraf

On September 1, 2013, the Iranian-American Community of North Texas (IACNT) held a picket-line and a candle light vigil for the victims of the unimaginable inhumane attack on the unarmed residents of Camp Ashraf.

On September, 1, 2013, Iraqi forces on orders from Maliki and the Iranian regime entered the camp killing 52 residents, wounding many others and taking 7 hostages. Further, Maliki’s thugs/criminals set many of the resident’s building and property on fire.
