In her appearance on KRLD's Ask The Expert, IACNT Chairwoman, Homeira Hesami, offered insightful perspectives on Iran's significant role as a catalyst for conflict and terrorism in the Middle East. Describing Iran's regime as "the head of the Snake" of war and terrorism, she highlighted the regime's involvement in fueling numerous issues in the region and beyond through its support for extremist groups and destabilizing actions. The Chairwoman emphasized the critical role that Western nations, particularly the United States, play in supporting the Iranian people's aspirations for democratic change. She underscored that backing the Iranian populace in their quest for freedom and democracy can not only lead to positive transformation within Iran but also contribute to fostering global peace and stability.
Expressing gratitude to Congress for standing with the Iranian people, she called on the United States to offer support to the Iranian populace. This aligns with recommendations put forth in U.S. Congress resolutions such as H.Res.100 and H.Res.627.
